This beautiful mizu quenched honyaki gyuto from Ikeda san arrived with us with very some small rust spots along the cladding on one side of the blade which can be seen in the close up detail photos.

The knife is otherwise new and unused and we've also had it sharpened professionally by@Sheffield_Knife_Sharpening as many Ikeda honyaki are shipped without an edge so it's ready for one lucky owner to use immediately.

This knife is White #2 and fitted with an ebony handle.
