The “bannou” knife is a small single piece craft and utility knife from the Nagao Kanakoma factory – the the only makers of authentic Higonokami knives and is a san mai construction of a white#2 steel core clad in soft iron for maximum sharpness and durability.
They’re finished with a lovely range of different colour traditionally corded handles and blade covers made in a wide range of patterns and colours.
